JH football Tigers take on Eagles
The Osmond junior high school football team fell at home to the Allen Eagles 42-0 on Monday, September 16 in junior high football action.
The Tigers played well throughout the first quarter, holding the Eagles to just a 6-0 advantage.
In the second quarter, the Tigers experienced some injuries and had to create a make-shift offense that included an improvisational quarterback.
Seventh grader Keaton Timmerman had a head injury in the second quarter, forcing the Tigers to make things work on the run.
The half ended with the Eagles up 24-0.
The Eagles then added a touchdown in the fourth quarter and another in the fourth quarter.
Overall, the Tigers saw nice contributions from Aaron Johnson (7th), Dylan Schmidt (8th), and Alexis Solarte (7th).
The Tigers had several others who contributed.
The Tigers (0-2) will play next on Monday, September 22 at Hartington against Hartington Public.
