“It was a great week for our guys. We knew playing on 3 consecutive days would be a challenge for us, especially since the final of the 3 contest would be the most challenging,” commented Coach Todd Schulze. Osmond’s defense played a huge impact in all 3 contests, holding each of their opponents below their season scoring average. “Our defense was much improved. Ponca exposed a few of our deficiencies on defense and our team made it an emphasis to improve in that aspect of the game last week in practice. It was rewarding to watch us perform defensively just as we had practiced,” added Coach Schulze. The Tigers will get a chance to rest their legs this week, waiting until Friday before their final regular season game, at home against Elkhorn Valley.
