Tigers split in Emerson-Hubbard Triangular
EMERSON—The Osmond Tigers split their games with the Emerson-Hubbard Lady Pirates and Randolph Cardinals on Thursday, September 6 as part of the Emerson-Hubbard Triangular.
The Tigers won their first match against Emerson-Hubbard 25-14, 25-20 and then fell to Randolph 25-17, 25-21.
Stellar performances from the service line helped the Tigers against the Lady Pirates.
They had five total, three of which came from senior Haven Schultze. Makenzie Johnson (Sr.) added two aces, while Grace Gansebom (Fr.) added one.
Johnson, Madeline Huwaldt (Jr.), and freshman Kiera Moes each had two kills. Gansebom and Macy Aschoff (Fr.) each added one.
In the second match the Tigers had eleven kills, led by Johnson with four. Schultze also had three.
Macy Aschoff added four ace serves.
The Tigers will battle Winside and Homer as part of a triangular at Homer High School on Tuesday, September 11.
