Tigers earn NCPA Academic All-State
The Osmond Tigers had a great fall.
Yes, each athletic team their success on the scoreboard (or received some prestigious medals or plaques), but what’s more important is that several individuals were recognized for their academic successes.
Nine different Tigers earned Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State across six activities.
This starts with the Chishiba brothers, Aaron (Jr.) and Johnson (So.). Each was recognized for as part of the boys cross country team.
Hayle Krienert ((So)was recognized as part of the girls cross country team. For football Nick Reikofski (Sr.) and Connor Gutz (So) made the list.
Reikofski also earned recognition for one-act paly production.
Brandi Gansebom (Sr.) and Connor von Rentzell (So.) were recognized as part of unified bowling.
Kennedy Johnson (Jr.) and Haven Schultze (Sr.) earned Academic All-State for volleyball.
These awards speak volumes about the kind of students at Osmond High School; this is especially true considering that there were more candidates who didn’t get the awards but who were still deserving.
Congratulations!! And keep up the good work!
