Tiger girls basketball players stay busy
Osmond Young Lady Tigers battle hard all week against very tough competition. The Tigers traveled to Laurel and were handed a 66-25 loss by The L-C Lady Bears. Their press kept us from getting any type of offense going. Top scorer for us was Mary Kahny with 9 followed by Hayley Kriernert with 5 points. Leading in the rebound department were Grace Gansebom and Macy Aschoff with 4 rebounds each. In our next game against state rated Ewing things went a lot better as we were ahead several times in this game. We had our chances to win the game at the end but we missed several oppurtunitites to put it away. The Lady Tigers of Ewing came away with a 45-41 victory. Leading Osmond in rebounds were Macy Aschoff with 6 and Elisa Herrera with 3. Macy also had 13 points and 3 steals on the night. Makenzie Johnson also recorded 13 points in a hard fought team effort.
