Education: I received my Bachelors degree in elementary education from Wayne State College in 1987. I completed my Masters degree from WSC in 1999.
Educational Experience: My career in education began in Clearwater, Nebraska where I taught Sixth grade for several years. While at Clearwater I also coached volleyball and some girls’ basketball. I also spent a few years teaching Title I. My last year there I was elementary principal at both Clearwater and Orchard.
Next, I spent four years at David City Elementary as a fifth grade teacher and assistant volleyball coach.
This is my fifth year as K-6 principal at Osmond Community School. This is the second year I have been splitting my time between Osmond and Randolph Elementary School.
Family: My husband, Rod, teaches Jr. Hi. English, and coaches at Osmond Community School. Our son, Seth, and his wife, Julie, recently moved their family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They have four children, Taylor, Zach, Austin and Cade. Our second son, Josh, just got married this summer. He and his new family--Jennifer, Mason and Jaden--live in Osmond. Our older daughter, Sydney, is beginning classes at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln this fall. Our younger daughter, Morgan, will be a junior here at Osmond.
Hobbies: I enjoy any time I can spend with my husband and our family. I enjoy cooking and baking for my family. I love all sports. And I enjoy reading and watching movies.
