Sally Shively is a graduate of Norfolk High School. She then received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wayne State College with majors in Physical Education/Recreation with a coaching endorsement. While at Wayne she was a 4 year letter winner in track, attaining All Conference honors 2 years in the 400 meter dash. She was inducted into the WSC Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990.
Her teaching experience includes 4 years at Lutheran High NorthEast as a PE/ Health/ Biology instructor, 10 years at Norfolk Public Schools where her duties included Elementary & Secondary PE, assistant 9th grade girls basketball, and assistant varsity girls track, 4 years at Hadar Public as Elementary PE and Health and 1 year at Pierce teaching Elementary PE.
Personally she has 2 sons, Drew a 22 year old senior at WSC and Brett a 19 year old sophomore also at Wayne State College. She loves to golf and read in her spare time, as well as traveling. She has a goal to go on a cruise within the next 5 years. She also enjoys going to watch the Cubs at Wrigley Field. She will be moving to Osmond by Sept 4.
