The regular meeting of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) was held on Feb. 10. To begin the meeting, Mr. John Stappert, our guest speaker, talked to the members. He is from Power Computing in Norfolk. Mr. Stappert talked about E-bay and how to be safe and cautious with it. He also gave us tips on how to use E-bay.
The meeting continued with some unfinished business. The members thanked Steve Manzer for attending as a professional member. Also thanked were those who helped with the Snowflake Dance decorations and other items. The members discussed the FBLA week’s activities on Feb. 16 through Feb. 19. On Monday, members will look in the classrooms for Hidden Business Supplies identified by tags. Prizes will be given to the members who locate the supplies. Each member will receive a treat that day. On Tuesday, students are invited to come and see the Senior Salute in the computer lab. Every member is given a treat, also. On Wednesday, FBLA members will meet at Petals and Pastries for breakfast in the morning. Thursday is Tie Day, and prizes will be awarded.
A motivational activity was provided by Melissa Timmerman.
