On Monday, November 14 an FBLA meeting was held in the Computer Lab at the High School.  Jan Jorgensen from Creighton, who is a volunteer for the RC&D (Resource, Conservation and Development program) spoke to members and parents about the environment.  She showed many types of pollution that are all around us.  She also showed some ways that we can stop polluting the world.  Her presentation was part of the FBLA’s Go Green project for 2011-2012.

After a short business meeting took place members who helped with the Rake and Run, and The Trick and Treat for the food pantry were thanked for their services.  The FBLA along with the Elementary Student Council proudly took a truck load of items to the local food pantry.

The fund raising efforts are under way with members being available to local business people and/or individuals who need assistance with projects.  Examples might be:  cleaning, sorting, taking inventory, etc.
