OCTOBER MONTHLY MEETING IN THE BOOKS
The Osmond FBLA chapter met Wednesday October 14th for their monthly meeting at 7:30 a.m.. Beth Manzer, FBLA adviser provided a little breakfast for the members that were in attendance.
During the meeting members decided to donate $100 to the FBLA Foundation. This Foundation helps students who attend National Leadership Conference by giving them a stipend each year.
Shelby Aschoff, Erin Schultz, Breanna Bolz, Shelby Stelling, Caitlyn Kumm, and Diane Kruse all volunteered to go to assist with the Story Hour that will be held on Friday, October 23rd. This event will be at the Public Library once every month.
FBLA members donated 2 boxes of canned/boxed items to the local Food Pantry along with $61 from their Feed Nebraska Project. The items and money resulted from a competition with the Wausa FBLA at a volleyball game.
President Krohn explained that the FBLA is sponsoring a Rollover Simulator to be brought to the OHS students later this month. This will give students an opportunity to see the effects of being in a vehicle that rolls due to distracted or careless driving.
After the meeting the members enjoyed a fun game of 20 questions!
