Tigers battle Cats
Tigers play well against Wildcats
The Osmond Tigers volleyball team competed well against the Hartington Wildcats on Thursday, September 20 at home. The Wildcats prevailed, however, 25-17, 25-12, 25-16.
The Tigers were fairly balanced and saw good effort from all girls on the floor.
Makenzie Johnson (Sr., MH) had one of her best games of the season so far. She had nine kills and caught some massive air.
Four Tigers had at least two kills. This included Macy Aschoff (Fr., OH) had four kills and four digs. Madeline Huwaldt (Jr., MH), and Haven Schultze (Sr., S) had two kills.
Huwaldt also added two solo blocks, while Schultze added an ace serve.
The Tigers will travel to Elgin for a triangular against the Elgin Public-Pope John Wolfpack and the Central Valley Mavericks on Tuesday, September 25.
The junior varsity team came back from a large deficit in the their second game and won the third game to take down the Cats.
