Lady Tigers take down Warriors, fall to Pirates
In a close game Osmond Lady Tigers were able to pull out a victory over Neligh-Oakdale Lady Warriors,by a score of 42-39. Both teams have very young squads so for the next several years expect close, tough, games against each other. Leading the Lady Tigers in scoring were Hannah Ferry with 15 points followed by Makenzie Johnson with10 points and Grace Gansebom with 8. Macy Aschoff and Makenzie led the team in rebounding with 4 boards each.
We then played Emerson-Hubbaerd on the home court an were defeated 56-39. Mary Kahny and Makenzie led our team in scoring with 14 and 11 points. We just haven't been able to knock down a lot of baskets all season. Scoring is a big issue for us, even though our defense has been pretty solid for such a young team. We have a tough game against Bloomfield this week and then play a tough Orchard-Clearwater squad on Friday at home.
