Tigers Take Top Honors at Conference Art
Wayne State College in Wayne, NE played host to the 2019 Lewis and Clark Conference Art Show Thursday, February 21st thru Monday, February 25. There were seventeen schools representing the Northeast Nebraska area displaying their best work in this show. Among these schools was Osmond High School.
Brandi Gansebom (Sr.) received accolades for her work as she received Best of Category Oil Painting and Best of Category Watercolor Painting. Gansebom also received Honorable Mention Best of Category Oil Painting.
Several other students received recognition as well. These included Hannah Ferry (Jr.), Makenzie Vargas (Jr.), Aaron Chishiba (Jr.), Ella Broekemeier (8th), Taylor Thompson (8th), Adamari Olguin (8th), Cali Gutz (8th), and Zach Reikofski (8th).
Due to inclement weather, the Osmond students were unable to participate in the closing festivities on Monday, February 25th. However, they will be attending the Wakefield Art Show on Wednesday, March 20th with over 75 pieces in tow.
