Tigers compete at LCC JH meet
Junior High Track Results
The Osmond J.H. Track team competed at the Laurel Invite on Wednesday, April 17. The J.H. Boys scored 87 points and finished in 2nd place out of the team competing. Stanton was the team champion with 139 points with Laurel Concord and Hartington finishing in 3rd and 4th place
I thought that the kids all performed well at this meet. We came out of the field events in first place and performed well enough on the track to finish as the team runner-up. We had a solid team performance with a lot of individuals placing and scoring for the team. Individually we were led by Bradee Gubbels who finished with a first, a second and two fourth place finishes and Alex Vinson who had four 2nd place finishes. I was especially pleased with the fact that we were able to beat Laurel Concord who finished ahead of us at the last meet.
