On October 21 the Lady Tigers (10-9) traveled to Homer to play the Ponca Indians in the second round of the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament.

The Lady Tigers fought hard overall but fell short in the end and were beat out of the tournament 25-15, 25-23.

After losing the match to Ponca the Tigers were put into a consolation match which was also located in Homer against the Randolph Cardinals.

The Tigers came out strong at the beginning of this matchup. This was the second time the Tigers and Cardinals had met in the 2019 season.

After two sets the Tigers were victorious over the Cardinals 25-18, 25-17.

Sadly the Tigers were done in the conference tournament after their loss to Ponca, but the Lady Tigers were able to improve their record to 11-12.

Johnson led the Tigers in kills with twelve followed by Aschoff with eight, Huwaldt with three, and Moes and Schmit each had two.

G.Gansebom had twenty-two set assists and Schmit had two.

Johnson had two solo blocks on the night.
