Tigers student-athletes earn NCPA Academic All-State Awards
LINCOLN—The Osmond Tigers ten student-athletes receive NCPA Academic All-State awards for fall activities on December 20, 2019 as part of the state’s continued effort to recognize outstanding achievement within its member schools.
Of the Osmond student-athletes, two were nominated for each NSAA sanctioned activity: boys cross country, girls cross country, football, unified bowling, and volleyball.
The sponsor from each activity was responsible for nominating students participating in his or her given activity based on high academic achievement.
This began with Zach Alderson (Sr.) and Aaron Chishiba (Sr.) for cross country. Hayle Krienert (Jr.) and Riley Wanger (So.) were recognized for girls country.
For football, the two recipients were Josh Gansebom (Sr.) and Landon Stelling (Sr.). The two volleyball members who were named on the list were Kennedy Johnson (Sr.) and Bailey Schmit (So.)
Finally, the two Osmond students who participated in unified bowling and who earned the award were Mason Gansebom (So.) and Connor vonRentzell (Jr.)
