On Thursday, August 22 the Osmond volleyball team took the town by storm when they swept the Plainview Pirates during the 2019 Jamboree in Osmond. The Tigers won the match 27-25, 25-15, 25-16.
The Lady Tigers were off to a rough start on the night when they were down 6-2 at the start of the first set. Halfway through the set the Tigers’ determination and teamwork paid off because they brought it to a one point set and were able to take control of the game at 14-15.

Although the Pirates brought the game within a few points and eventually caused a tie at eight, the Tigers were able to get themselves pulled back together and get their emotions in check to pull ahead of the Pirates and get the final set win to finish the match.
Excitement swept through the stands and all of the players as the last point of the game was scored.
