            Friday October 7^th the Osmond cross country team traveled to Rolling Hills golf course for the Lewis & Clark conference meet which is also the Bloomfield invitational.  Carson Noecker of Hartington-Newcastle won the meet for the fourth time in a row and again broke his own course and meet record.  His record set last year was 15:34.30; this year was clocked at 14:38.93. 

          Robert Aschoff was the fastest Osmond runner placing 9^th in the Lewis & Clark meet in a time of 18:25.36.  Caleb Miller was 17^th in 19:05.78.  Dominic True was next in 22^nd place (19:23.06), Karter Johnson next in 23rds place (19:31.33), Gavin Geneski 25^th (19:37.31), and Matthew Alderson 28^th (19:56.70).

Hudson Schultze was 31^st in a time of 20:09.59, Noah Geneski 36^th in 20:43.85, and Jack Berg came in 47^th in his best time of 22:30.74.

          Same times but changes of place in the Bloomfield meet due to adding in teams from Lutheran High Northeast and Norfolk High. Robert 9^th , Caleb 18^th, Dominic 23^rd ,Karter 24^th , Gavin 26^th , Matthew 30^th , Hudson 33^rd , Noah 39^th , and Jack 51^st .

          The boy’s finished in fourth place in both meets behind champions Bloomfield-Wausa and runner-up Hartington and third place Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.

          Keli Aschoff ran her best time of this season of 22:32.00.  This time was good for 10^th place in the L&C conference meet and 11^th place in the Bloomfield meet.

          In the junior high division of the Bloomfield meet at a distance of 2500 meters, Rachel Harder finished in 5ht place in 10:50.01.  Charley Aschoff placed 7^th in 10:56.43, and Deanna Kumm was 16^th in a time of 11:59.01.  For the boy’s race Mason True was 13^th in a time of 10:17.72.  Donovan Heiman placed 14^th in 10:59.84.

          “We competed pretty well, especially after a long recall due to a timing issue.  The race restarted 10 minutes following the stoppage after probably a half mile” noted Coach Joe Ortmeier.  “Now it’s time for the District meet on Thursday at Ainsworth.  This decides who runs at the State Cross Country meet in Kearney the following week.”
