Public Hearing on the Proposed 2023-2024 Budget 

September 11, 2023

7:00 PM – Multi-Purpose Room

 

Purpose Statement:  To provide all students a quality education, with its focus on academics and character, empowering them to be productive citizens of a dynamic, global society.”

 

1. Call meeting to order.  It is hereby determined that this hearing was preceded by publicized notice in the 8/30/2023 issue of the Osmond Republican and is hereby duly convened in open session in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.  A current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the room.   

 

2. Pledge of Allegiance

   

3. We will now open this hearing for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers relating to adopting the 2023-2024 budget.

Call meeting to order.  It is hereby determined that this hearing was preceded by publicized notice in the 8/30/2023 issue of the Osmond Republican and is hereby duly convened in open session in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.  A current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the room.   

   

II. We will now open this hearing for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request for the 2023-2024 school year.

   2. Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action to approve the Resolution to increase in the district's base growth percentage by up to an additional seven percent or other maximum amount as permitted by law. 

   3. Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action in adopting the 2023-24 proposed budget.

   4. Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action in adopting a resolution to set the 2023-24 Final Tax Request for the General Fund in the amount of $3,117,666 and the Special Building Fund in the amount of $101,414.00 and the Qualified Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund (QCPUF) of $95,960.

   5. Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action on the potential football co-op with Randolph Public School District.
